Emergency Information | OneCloud Support Portal

This article explains how to configure local notifications to be sent when somebody calls 911 in an office, healthcare, or other group situation.

In addition to alerting the authorities, notifications should be sent on-site so that immediate care or disaster measures can be enacted. These are set on the domain level.

There are 3 types of notifications:

  • Email — Sends an email detailing the 911 phone call.
  • Automated call — Dials target numbers with an automated message detailing the 911 phone call.
  • SIP Message — Sends a brief text alert to phone screens, where supported.

Rules

1. Portal user of scope Reseller or above.

Procedure

Portal - Enable Notifications

Notifications are set when editing a domain or site.

1. Log into the Portal.

2. Navigate to Domains.

3. Edit an existing domain. Navigate to the Emergency tab.

4. In the "Emergency Notification" section, there are three options. After typing the values, click Save
