Placing a call
Placing a call in OneCloud Connect can be accomplished by using the dial-pad located in the top right, next to your avatar. The dial-pad is persistent, meaning it is always shown regardless of what module or menu you are in.
Clicking on the dial-pad will open the softphone window:
From within the softphone window, you will see your most recent calls at the top. Click on a recent call to automatically dial the number/user. You may also simply enter a number using your keyboard or the on-screen dial pad.
Once you've entered the number you wish to dial, click the blue phone icon to place the call:
Receiving a Call
On an incoming call, you will see a popup/notification in-window showing the details of the incoming call, with options to Silence, Decline, or Accept the incoming call.
After accepting the call, a new window appears giving you a suite of call control options such as mute, hold, transfer, dialpad, etc.
Transferring a Call
Access the call control menu by clicking on the blinking telephone icon next to the dialpad button.
From within the call control menu, select the transfer button located in the center.
A new submenu appears, select an option to either dial a new number or choose a contact from the phonebook to transfer the call to
After selecting from the contact list or dialing a new number, select the transfer method:
On clicking blind transfer - the call will automatically be sent to the destination party.
On clicking Assisted transfer - when the destination party answers, you will have the following options in the call control menu:
To complete the transfer, simply click the "Complete Transfer" button.
Caller ID
The phone extends into the profile window where you can change you caller ID on the fly
Use the profile dropdown to select from your list of assigned caller ID's
