To start, log into your Gmail account.
In the top right, navigate to the settings icon and the click “See All Settings.”
Go over to forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Enable POP and then enable IMAP. This will allow OneCloud CX to communicate with this given email account. Go ahead and save your changes.
Then go over to your account in the top right corner and then “manage your Google account.”
On the left, select the “security” tab.
In the security section, scroll down to “Signing in to Google.”
Select “App passwords”.
Then click on “select app” and choose “Other” to create a new custom app.
Rename the app to “OneCloud CX” and then select “generate” to create an app password.
This will be a unique password that OneCloud CX will use to access your email account. Copy the given password, disregarding the spaces in-between the characters. Save this to a location of your choice.
