Install WebPhone on Your Windows Computer | OneCloud Support Portal

Using progressive web app technology, you can install OneCloud’s WebPhone onto your computer. Progressive web apps (often called PWA) benefits include:

  • Runs in its own window, not just a browser.
  • Can be launched from your start menu, taskbar, or desktop.
  • Receives push notifications from the backend server.
  • Automatically updates in the background.
  • Can start up when you log into your computer.


Installing the WebPhone

Go to myonecloud.com in your internet browser.

Click on Apps, then click on WebPhone to open your OneCloud WebPhone in your browser.

When using desktop Chromium-based browsers, such as Edge or Chrome, an Add button appears within the URL bar. The add button icon will vary by browser.

A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your intent to install this PWA. Press the blue Install button.

The WebPhone will install. Shortly after, the settings window will open. Choose which of the following you’d like the app to do:

  • Pin to taskbar
  • Pin to Start
  • Create Desktop Shortcut
  • Auto-start on device login
