OneCloud for Teams - License Requirements
If you're considering using OneCloud for Operator Connect or Direct Routing, you must first confirm that your Teams users are assigned the correct licenses. See the table below for a full list of supported licenses.
When configuring Direct Routing at least 1 non-inclusive license and 1 Teams Phone Standard License are needed for initial setup, but can be removed after setup.
As a general rule of thumb, your users must have a license that gives them access to the Microsoft Teams application and Teams phone. Some licenses include both and others require an additional add-on license for the phone capabilities. To meet this requirement, we recommend the Microsoft 365 E3 and Teams Phone Standard licenses for most use cases. The table below outlines some further licensing guidelines for your business needs.
