In OneCloud version 44.1 there are some big changes to Time Frames adding lots of options for further customization and flexibility. This article aims at providing an overview of configuring time frames in version 44.1.
To add time frames, navigate to the "Time Frames" tab within the OneCloud portal:
Only Office Manager and above will have this option on the domain level.
Add a Time Frame
Time Frames can be added by either clicking on the "Add Time Frame" button:
or the green + button:
In the "Add a Time Frame" modal, give the time frame a name, and select "When" the time frame will be active.
Configure a Time Frame
There are 5 main configuration options for time frames, all of which are covered below:
Always
This is always/all the time.
There are no further configuration options for this selection.
Days of the week
This is a weekly schedule for days of the week and optional start/end times of the day.
There is also a hidden "Copy to All" button, that only appears when hovering over a selected time range, to copy the selected time range to all other selected days of the week:
Specific Dates
These are exact dates and times, with the option to create multiple specific dates.
Click on the blue "+" button to add a date and click "Save" when done.
Holidays
Select from a list of local and international holidays with an optional choice to recur; holiday options are maintained and updated by Calendarific
With Holidays, you may also choose the observations:
Custom
This selection can combine days of the week, specific dates, and holidays all together to suit any time frame need.
Recurrence
Each "When" option also has the ability for recurrence. The recurrence options depend on the "When" that is selected, as well as the specific ranges within the selection. A few examples:
