On the bottom left of the window you will see your fax number along with current usage for the month. If you're account has multiple number, this is where you change your number when sending a fax.
From here you can search for faxes by From Number, To Number, or Notes. You can also use the date selection next to the refresh button.
You can also add notes or view the audit log of any fax by click the edit icon (pencil)
To download a fax, hit the download button and a download should begin in your browser. In Chrome and Edge you can use CTRL-J to open your downloads folder.
When deleting a fax, all confidential information including the fax is permanently wiped from the servers. The basic fax data (to/from/date/audit) is retained for audit logs.
To send a fax, hit the "Compose a Fax" button and follow the instructions from (insert compose kb link here)
Sent Faxes
As with the inbox, sent faxes are searchable by From Number, To Number and Notes. There is also a date filter next to the refresh button
There are 3 status's for sent faxes.
- Delivered: We received a confirmation the fax was delivered to the recipient
- Sending: Your fax is still sending. Please note depending on the size and images in a fax it can take anywhere from 1 minute for a 1 page fax to 12 hours for a 300 page fax. This is a speed limitation of faxing.
- Failed: Your fax failed for one of many reasons. The most common reason is a busy number. (Future release will show reason if applicable)
In the event of a failed fax or if the party did not receive a fax even though it shows delivered you can use the "Resend" button, this will automatically resend the fax.
